AG Peterson to Host Mobile Office in Seward
Lincoln--On Tuesday, October 11, 2016 Nebraska Attorney General Doug Peterson will be hosting Mobile Office hours in Seward, Nebraska at the Lied Senior Center (1010 Manor Drive West) from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm and will be joined by several of his staff.
After opening Mobile Office, General Peterson will be spending the day in Seward with law enforcement, local officials, and students at both the high school and Concordia University.
During Mobile Office hours, representatives from both the AGO Consumer Protection Division and the Director of Constituent Services will be on hand to personally meet citizens who may be interested in submitting concerns or complaints to the Attorney General’s office. Citizens will also have opportunity to learn about how to protect themselves from identity theft, guard against scams and rid themselves of pesky unwanted calls.
Tessa Peters, Director of the AGO Mediation Center will give a presentation on Identity Theft at 12:30 to patrons of the Senior Center, and members of the public are welcome to attend. She will also be available throughout the day to educate, answer questions and inform citizens about the latest scams being reported across Nebraska. Several valuable educational resources will be available for anyone interested to stop in and acquire for future reference.
